My Story
Hi everyone!
Scentsy has been a constant presence in my home for many, many years... When you have three pups, a couple of birds, a hamster, many snails, a frog and a teenage boy, the house tends to want to, you know... give off unpleasant smells (I'm sure you know what I mean).
I discovered Scentsy way back when when I was looking for a safer alternative to candles. I was addicted to candles for a long time, partly for their lovely light, partly for the great smells. However, I was constantly worried about the pets knocking the over, my husband forgetting them (he's forgetful and clumsy - this happened all the time)...
Scentsy was what took care of all my worries. A friend of mine became a Scentsy consultant and it is through her that I was introduced to the amazing variety of scents, and the lovely warmers that ended up visually-enhancing my environment much more than candles ever did... The glow of my Scentsy warmers, all around the house, is just beautiful in the evening!
I was amazed at the variety of warmer styles - and so was my husband. He even found Scentsy warmers that coordinated perfectly with his very specific mid-century modern decor! I prefer the homey look myself.
My favourite scent ever is Lemon Chiffon and I stockpiled it. Our house now smells lemony-fresh at all times! Charles (the clumsy, forgetful husband I mentioned earlier) was happy to discover that Scentsy also catered to men's tastes, which he felt were more along the lines of fragrancy scents rather than foody scents. His home office now smells wonderful (and manly, yes, Charles, manly) at all times!
I decided to become Scentsy consultant because of all the things that are handy to anyone living in the Leslieville area of Toronto, Scentsy did not appear to be one of them. I can now help! I am so happy to be a part of the Scentsy family... Over the years, I have met several consultants, and the feeling of "family" really does permeate all interactions with them...
